Finding Unity in Our Unique Stories
Reveiling the Uncommon Threads of the Human Experience
Have you ever felt a heightened sense of awareness? The sudden realization that life is so much more than the fraction of reality that you are currently experiencing at the moment...
A Hug From The Universe.
I was walking around campus, so stricken by my daily dose of reality, having a bad day. Almost succumbing through that empty feeling of the void and loneliness, where it's almost as if it's you against the world (aka reality). I was minding my emo time when a state of consciousness has struck me once again out of nowhere, as if the universe is giving me a massive comfort hug and a nod saying "you're not alone". These moments when a sudden whisper or spark of life hits and I become acutely aware of everything—a heightened sense of awareness; feeling every thing around me. In those instances, when the profound realization hits me hard: I am merely a single human being in this colossal cosmos, full of possibilities and diverse experiences. The impermanence of everything becomes significantly apparent, and I find myself immersed in the novelty of life.
You Are Bigger Than Your Problems.
In those rare instants, my problems fade into insignificance, and life takes on a more enchanting quality. It's important to remember how far you have come. The unwanted and regrettable experiences still provides a great opportunity to learn and become stronger. Even when some fraction of reality appears harsh at times, the knowledge that we are all in this together, trying to figure it all out, grappling with the complexities of life, brings a sense of unity and makes the journey more enjoyable.
I value life, recognizing that it can be stressful at times. However, I understand that as long as I can tap into the sense of connectedness, I will never truly feel excluded and alone. All I need is to remain open to the vast and magical experiences that life offers.
We're All In This Together (insert Zac Efron thirst trap)
What captivates me is the understanding that despite our shared experiences, each life is uniquely crafted. No two existences are the same, which adds an even more fascinating and mundane feeling to the human experience. The awareness that there are approximately eight billion people on this planet means that I am not alone; solitude becomes an illusion. Perhaps a thousand or million people have navigated through the same scenarios that I have, contemplated thoughts that I naively believed were uniquely mine. Somewhere out there, on this vast universe, someone feels precisely the way I do—I am never truly alone.
My passionate hope is to never take life for granted, embracing every moment as an opportunity to savor the experience of navigating through the shared tapestry of our existence…
